CM7 on HTC ChaCha

Hi all, I am keen to get a port of CM7 to this phone after having just taken delivery of one. If anyone else has any interest in this and/or has previous experience in porting CM7, I'd be interested in hearing from you!

you may want to run z4root first if you have one on hand...

Would be great to have CM7 on the ChaCha; lets hope that DEVS find the ChaCha interesting enough to start creating custom roms ....

I have interest, given that the bootloader is open. Another issue is money, so I guess you won't be seeing me around anytime soon around this parts, but I might buy the device eventually sometime later.

Edit: Try z4root, gingerbreak and superoneclick to root. If you are able to root it, there might be hope for y'all.

Oh yes please, custom mod or something to be able to change the "facebook button" functionality!

A Vanilla rom with Launcher Pro etc and ability to assign button would be amazing.

I love my ChaCha but I think it would be even speedier with a vanilla rom.
