i do try to check in here. it's easier to get a hold of me on miui.us or pm me here and i'll get the email allert. and i'll do what i can for as long as i am able to with the inc. i'll be sticking with it for a while because no device out right now has a big "awe factor" i'm looking for.

Just noticed MIUI 2.2.17 is available to download if anyone is interested. Seems stable so far, running as good as 1.12.9 did for me.

before your post, there hasn't been a post in 11 days in this thread. I though DInc development was dead.

Mark doesn't really post here, as he's stated before.

If you follow his twitter, or miui.us threads, development is not or was not dead.

There was a 2.2.10 build out too.

Unless something changed this week, both gb and ics builds are active. I think 2.10 is most recent release. Ics has a long way to go but it is already my daily driver. Follow twitter or the sticky on miui.us for updates.

Is this gingerbread or the ics build? I've seen no mention of this on the forums or his twitter page, also if its gingerbread have you noticed if the phone fc's are still there?

I'm running 2.2.10 gingerbread with no problems whatsoever, no dialer fc.

It's a Gingerbread build. I haven't had anything force close so far, it seems just as stable as 1.12.9 was for me. Only bug I have noticed is when I'm dialing a number that isn't in my contacts the three options it gives are in Chinese. It doesn't bother me though, just the only thing I have noticed.

I tried out 2.2.10. Honestly it was fairly slow for me. I also was getting very annoyed with titanium backup and how i was unable to cancel anything. I accidentally started doing a backup instead of restore, so i closed it out and it was still going in the background, and i even stopped titanium, it still continued.


Once ICS is better optimized for speed, and not so choppy between menus, i will give it another try, but for now im staying with my GB version.

But then again, the Droid Inc is still my only phone, and its still fairly old and wont run as well as newer phones. So that probably have a great deal to do with the slowness.
