Change search button -> Call / Camera button

If you want to replace search button with another action
just go to /system/usr/keylayout/at42qt602240_Touchscreen.kl
(Root required!)

change
KEY 217 SEARCH WAKE_DROPPED
to
KEY 217 CALL WAKE_DROPPED
or
KEY 217 CAMERA WAKE_DROPPED * Camera not work, when long press ,camera will start but automatic take a picture 1 time.

Yup. Also there is the button remaper apk in here somewhere I think. Its a good tip though. Galaxy tab general maybe or apps and themes.

Perhaps wrong section, but i'd asked in q&a but no answers..
So, HOW do i change that file??

Edit: open file in texteditor with root explor er. Got it!

How is this the wrong section? The Guy is posting code to remap buttons. This can be used in ROM DEVELOPMENT. People on xda really shock me sometimes.....
