[Q] Xperia Neo <not working>

I have xperia Neo update with ver 2.3.3 As i come out of my mind to think to root my Neo without unlock the bootloader. unfortunately is being a mess for me right now.

I try to follow the instruction from this link

where i try to first step flash the firmware to the phone.

However, after flashing. as i power on the phone to do the first rebooting, it make me wait up to 20 min, and suddenly my phone make a continuous beep sound, and then leave a blank screen with no respond.


currently i have no idea to make my phone comeback. i try to reflash back with generic firmware "mt15i_3.0.1.a.0.145_GLOBAL.ftf" again with flashloader.

I try to press the back button to insert the USB to bein the flashing, but the pc can't detech the phone at all.

Is there anyone can help me through with this?

is your phone fully charged ?
when the battery is under 30 % or so, it won't go into flash mode ( had this problem with my ARC )

i wonder since the xda developer don have xperia neo section exist


in case there is new ROM or way to handle the phone.
where should we post it?

I just worry not much ppl gonna look through on the custom firmware and how to root the phone without unlock the bootloader

hi bro i have neo also and got the problem after i updated via OTA,my neo doesnt response when i press power,green light flashing lcd is black

have u unlock ur bootloader? tell me your details how u make it

yes i unlock my bootloader,but now PC companion and SEUS is updating with my phone before its not due to modified software
