Default wake up problems.

Recently noticed on my HTC Wildfire S that it sometimes doesn't wake up with the power button.

If I press the power button, it should wake up and show the lockscreen. Mine occassionally will take forever - and this also happens with my girlfriend's Wildfire S.

Have tried rebooting the phone to clear the memory, but that doesn't help.

Vodafone think I should try updating the firmware but the Wildfire S is not available on the UK HTC website...... help!!

Both phones are running:

Software 1.33.161.2
Baseband 47.10.35.3029H_7.46.35.08
Kernel 2.6.35.10-g60b2609

If you have installed market applications, move them to SD card..well the ones which can be moved

There is also several task killers available on the market which allow to set a scheduled autokill. This will kill running applications and keep your running memory optimized. Advanced Task Killer will allow you to create an 'Ignore list' for the autokill feature.

Hope it helps
