I am no stranger to flashing ROM's, kernels, themes ext..., however, I have attempted MIUI a few times, once several months ago and again recently. I keep getting FC's from Google to making calls. One right after another. Seemingly endlessly. I have fixed permissions thru clockwork mod, and while booted, thru ROM Manager and it did not help. I have reflashed, what I believe to be the most stable ROM, TW's 1.3.1. I would like for MIUI to work because I like the OTA updates. I even tried IceCream and still have the issues. Will this not work well on my Vibrant 3G? Any help would be great. Thanks.

I was having similar issues with FCs all over the place, specifically Framework and Facebook the most. The culprit seemed to be contacts syncing or gmail syncing. What fixed it for me was the following steps:

• Ensure your contacts are backed up to Google.
• Manually flash the latest MIUI ROM
• Clear data on: Calendar Storage, Contacts, Contacts Storage, Gmail, Google Calendar Sync, Google Contacts Sync, Google Services Framework, Market, and Talk
• Remove your Google account from Accounts and Sync
• Manually reflash the latest MIUI ROM

It had to resync everything, and it's almost like some db got corrupted somewhere and had to be rebuilt. Again, it will clear everything, but if you have it all backed up on Google, it should be OK.

Hope this is somewhat helpful.

I will try this over the weekend. Am I clear with the understanding that I flash the MIUI ROM twice? Both before and after clearing all of the data you suggested? How has your ROM responded and what MIUI ROM are you on? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for the instruction , why do people don't post instructions on main page and also try to document everything in simplest form as possible and assume this would be know.
*Sigh*... Have any of you guys seen my miui guide? It's stickied in the Q&A section, a link is in my signature, and I'll provide a link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1307637. It has step-by-step instructions for flashing this ROM, themes for it, compatible kernels, compatible modems, a FAQ, and more!
