[Q] hd2 screen types

so today my wifes replacement hd2 came in and one thing i have noticed is that on her phone the screen looks a lil different such as it has a purpleish tint and u cant see the matrix array like on my hd2 Wierd??

I will post some pics when i get off work to get a second opinion

There are indeed at least 2 different screen types around - this was discussed quite some time ago. The difference is indeed visible. Searching a bit would probably result in getting pictures of the different types.

well i gotz some pictures hard to tell but u can see a difference in the light color in the reflection and for warranty purposes heres what the tri color screen looks like

I keep wondering though! Why HTC made a phone with... i don't know.. a lot of different touch screens?
My First Eu HD2 had the dots in the screen but i sold it to get an HD7.
Before some months ago, i bought my second EU HD2 and my screen doesn't have the dots!

well remember the first versions had laggy screen then later after several revision changes they must have tried to perfect it lol
