When it searches for an update it will store the necessary info in a file called MSU.txt in the Motorola Software Update program directory. Then you can find the flex version.

Thanks for your instruction, I followed the steps, the MSU.txt is there, but still couldn't find the path /system/etc/motorola/bp_nvm_default/File_GSM, the only file I found which you mentioned before is a file named flex, it located in /system/etc/motorola/com.motorola.android.fota, is that it?

you would use these firmware files with RSDLite as described here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=991072

right?

If the path "/system/etc/motorola/bp_nvm_default/File_GSM" is not found on your device, the information needed will be found in plain text inside a file called "MSU.txt" on your PC once you try to update your phone using the program Motorola Software Update.

Here's an example:

The "MSU.txt" trick didn't work for Bell ATRIX because it yields an incomplete flex name like "00D.0R" , which frankly doesn't help much.

If you could somehow dump your Radio CG5 it would help a lot.

I don't need it be "flashable" and I don't need to split it, I just need that code group dumped -- preferrably in .smg format. That will contain the most crucial info.

I've uploaded the MSU.txt in my first post, however, I think we got the same case as Bell Atrix, I can see the flex name "041.0R", it won't help a lot.

Hi guys, I have two questions about firmwares. I have an Atrix by AT&T and I would know if I can flash the french firmware or the UK ones and what are the differences between the service firmware and the full ones. Thank you.

I'm sorry for my questions but I'm a very very newbie
