I pretty sure design gears has left xda. I saw a tweet from him the other day bashing xda a little. You can find him in the rootzwiki forums now

The problem is probably due to the version of clockwork mod. Try flashing just the version of the of the kernel of the rom first using sgs kernel flasher available in the market. Works with root. This may make your phone boot loop but it's ok. At this point pull the battery and manually boot into CWM then install illuminance. Hope this works for you.

Can anyone please upload the kernel and the rom?

Going back from ICS, I got the 1006 build which looks like won't work properly with roms based other than cappy based roms.

Me, too. Back from ICSSGS. Tired of the crashes.
I enjoyed Cognition v4.5.3 so much I want to try v5.2. Where is Cog v5.2? Links on page 1 don't work. Anyone....anyone....

Try the Legend Rom. The current release is 3.7. It is very solid and stable with a stock look option. Also a huge plus is that the devs on it are still active and very helpful.

I, too, am a Cog fan. Not to get anyone's hope high, but if you check out DG's tweeter page, you will see he wrote, "hehe, Cognition might be making a comeback soon ". Not sure if he was joking or serious, but maybe something to look forward to.

I would expect it to be for the sgs2 when ICS hits
