Create Log in to Motoblur?

Bought a Flipside for my dad on eBay. Brand new but (as advertised) it didn't come in the box...but well, it does look brand new.

Anyway I put in my dad's SIM card and the message "SIM card is removed or changed. Log in to your MOTOBLUR account to unlock." is all I see. I don't have an option to create an account and on the website I read that it must be done on the phone. How?

Can anyone help?

EDIT: I figured it out. I reset the phone (Turned phone off. Held X then pressed Power until the Android guy showed up. Then pressed volume keys and the camera key together to get a menu. Used the arrow keys to choose "reset" and the key below the erase button to choose) and it has let me create a new account.
