Default Infused stuck on boot screen.

I just put Infused on my infuse a couple of hours ago. It worked fine after the initial reboot but after i turned off my phone and turned it back on it is now stuck on the screen with the sparks making the "X". Please help. Ive turned the phone on by holding the power button and the two volume buttons to get me to the CWM recovery mode and i have no idea what to do next.

You should've posted this in the support thread, it didn't need its own.

Try going in to CWM and clearing the Cache. (wipe)

First off, let me apologize for starting a needless thread. I'm new to the forum world. Also, I tried your advice and it didn't work. At least i think i did. I chose wipe cache partition then all then yes-wipe partition. Same thing happened. Do you or anyone else have anymore ideas. My phone is at your mercy.

Try "wipe data/factory reset" then "wipe cache partition" then go to "install zip from SDCard", "choose zip from sdcard", and choose the rom again and reinstall it.

Thank you, you saved me big time. Is this something that I need to wary of every time I turn off my phone? Is this common? And does anyone know what causes it and how to avoid it? (You know, besides not letting someone who has no idea of what they are doing mess with their phone innards)

Normally, no. Something must have gone wrong or a bad app or a bad setting or a corrupt file. Loads of possibilities. I have not had that happen to me yet, but the good part is there is almost always a way to come back
