Question [Q] Reject Call with Text

So I am a long time Sense user and loved the ability to reject a incoming call with a text message. You use to be able to hit the menu key from the lock screen or while in the main menu. It would automatically give you an option to send a text.

I have tried everything to find out how to do this on the tmobile sensation but can not figure out how to do it. I even found a setting under call settings for this feature but no way to activate it during incoming calls. Please help.

Didnīt find anything on lockscreen. While phone is unlocked you can press settings on incoming call.

I called t-mo about this today. They said that they had only "1" person call in about this. -_- There was a work around listed in the system, but it did not work on my phone. I asked would a fix be coming in the new update and she said : "you would have to ask HTC".

Okay, I call HTC. The guy on the phone HAD NO CLUE that their phones actually had this feature - now OR in the past. He told me to decline the call first and THEN hit the option button and the choice to "reject cal with a message" would pop up. Tried it twice (though it mad NO sense) and it did not work. I told him that when I press the menue button during a call it only gave me the "mute" option. He said that he did not know if there would ever be a fix. The phone is just "made like that". I highly doubt that.

I am of two opinions: either a lot of people have never used this option so there is no out cry or it works on the majorithy of phones so you don't really hear about it from the masses. Either way -I NEED THIS FIXED!

That's strange, it sends for me just by letting a call ring out, I dont end it, just let it ring all the way to vm (it you have it, I dont)

I just stop the ringer by hitting a volume button and its quiet till the call stops

Give that a shot, just let it ring thru, it might be automatic on 3.0
