Is there a huge difference in the cam/videocam quality between the Cyanogenmod and the stock rom camera applications?

Which one do you think is better?

Personally I found both to be rather disappointing. I use Camera360, it shows more vibrant colours, the flash isn't over-the-top, and has lots of effects.

It does not seem to have touch focus however.
And - what do you use as video recorder btw?

On my LG the cam is absolutely best on CM7..

same here..
and i found the light of cam in cm7 is under exposed. very dim when external light is not enough...
camera360 is cool but it doesnt support front camera...
