Unhappy [Q] bricked Acer Liquid E after flashing Ferrari rom
Hey guys sure could use U'r help
Have an Acer Liquid E from Fido
Used Acer download tool to flash 4.008.08.EMEA.VFIT (For Liquid E 512MB)
This worked fine.
Then flashed 4.005.06_AAP-G2F_05.02.01 (For Liquid E Ferrari Edition 512MB)
-Phone will not start. Pressing power button vibrates once then shows:
"Warning! This sytem is not licensed for you phone. Unable to start."
-Take battery out then Pressing 'Camera + Volume down + Power' buttons causes phone to vibrate three times but the same message appears.

1. Remove Your Battery and Cable
2. connect your Liquid into PC/Leptop with its own cable
3. Press "Vol_Up + Cam + Power" and listen into your PC/Leptop. (unless any connection sound at your PC/Leptop, do the first step)
4. Run the Acer Tools
5. Flash *.bin files
6. Pray
7. Good Luck

Was able to get to fastboot with phone attached to PC.
Tried to install Malez Recovery. PC and phone confirmed install but....
phone did not reboot after install. Phone will not start at all or even respond to any button combination. aaaah

Returned Acer Liquid to Fido. Received phone back after approx two months.
Phone returned to me with broken screen & a bill to fix it. According to Fido store phone was broken by repair company. Phone was sent back for screen repair. Some two months later phone was replaced by Fido store @ no cost to me..... however replacement cell phone front speaker/receiver not working. Took phone back to Fido Store but have not received an answer whether phone will be repaired. In my oppinion the "Acer Liquid E" is the most propblematic cell phone I have ever owned. HATE IT! & service from the Fido Store bites the big one!
