Default Couldn't stay away long

Hi All,

Well a couple of weeks ago I regretably jumped ship and grabbed a Dx2. Although that is truly a great phone I just missed the Thunderbolt and the feel of the HTC phone. A week ago some co-workers started getting 4G and the speeds were rediculous (27M down... that's crazy).

So I traded my X2 for another Thunderbolt and I'm glad to be back !!!

I haven't rooted yet as I'm patiently awaiting the GB release though I may not wait long

I've been out of the loop with regards to OTA updates recently. My phone updated one, but then seamed to have issues with another update taking... not sure if previous user had it rooted then reverted.

My baseband is 1.16.00.0402w_1

Is this MR1 or MR2
Device: Droid Maxx

MR1...

No sense in waiting for GB when it's already here

Flash the MR2 or MR2.5 and your GB ROM of choice

Sent using the Th3ory of Thunderbolt

The Droid x2 was hard to pass up when I was choosing a phone. I played with it for a bit but just kept coming back to the tb. Finally decided I had my a500 for all the stuff I would need the power for,and the tb seemed like a better phone and 4g vs dual core wasn't much of a choice. 4g has been turned on for testing twice since I got my phone. I only get about 600k down on 3g at my house since I'm in a hole, but when 4 g was up I actually giggled a little while browsing and downloading stuff. 4g is so much better than dual core.

I was a MOTO fan coming from an og Droid so that made the x2 even more enticing. I loved that phone. First phone I was happy with in a long time. Rooted with cm7 of course but it was just a good phone. I have the same feeling with the tb. It does what does well and thanks to the community and devs it can only get better.

Like others have said I would much rather have 4G over dual core. To me personally these phones are zippy enough without needing dual cores. I am happy with this phone and will enjoy it for a full 2 years (First phone I have ever had that I actually plan on keeping for the whole time)

Welcome back. If you want a stock GB, wait for the expected date of June 30th. It's not that far away.
