[Q] HTC Desire S Sim-Unlock Utility?

Just been browsing the Desire forum and came across some free-ware that let's you unlock your phone. Is there a simillar software for the Desire S? Or will the Desire Sim-LUnlock Utility work with the S?

it isnt my method i seen on other forums it was working. the unlock code IS in our device its just finding it it worked on my friends device but i cant replicate on any other device

What can you do with XTC clip? They're selling for £30ish, just wondering if it is worth the money getting one if I plan to tinker round some DSs?
