i have this problem on my Tab if i use the back button to leave the app but if i use the home button it works just fine.

yeah that's when mine would do it, if i left the app using the back button, but if i just hit the home key text messages don't cause it to FC.

I just downloaded the latest version and so far it's working great.

Glad to hear its working. For everybody experiencing force closes, just make sure you use the reporting tool so I can get a stacktrace. Comments on the form help too so I know the context! The reports I've received so far have already been very helpful.

The crash reports I have received have been very helpful. I'm focusing on improving stability for the next update and things are coming along nicely.

Loving the app. Only problem I'm having (with Transformer and Galaxy S 4G) is when I first connect the two and try to send a message to someone. The first message I send doesn't show up on the phone, but the person does receive it. So far it seems that after I send a message and they reply any following messages sent from the Transformer show up fine on the phone. Just curious if this is happening to others?

Yes, the widget is not perfect, can confuse a ipad user. LMAO. Nevertheless a great idea and very useful app even at this stage.
