Question need a developer to look into this debug log.

Hi all.

I am currently using the latest version of Slick2X-F 4.1 606 ril.

I think i have found out why my phone reboots spontaneously sometimes (2 reboots a day and sometimes more depending on where i am)

It happens when switching from 3G + WIFI, this leads me to think it's a error in the WIFI driver / 3G /H or we need a kernel patch.

I have tried all basebands and now i am using the newest and 606 ril.

Could a developer please take a look at this log.

http://xwb.dk/android_debug.log

I know it says kernel panic but the question is why it goes into kernel panic, i am a skilled Linux administrator but i can't figure out why.

I hope this helps others which is currently in the same situation.

Please help.

Thanks in advance.

I dont know much about this, but have you tried a different kernal?? to see if this still happens??

If it is the kernal that is causing the problem surely everyone else using that rom + kernal would be experiencing the same.

looks like you are using "2.6.32.9-fakeShmoo-psycho-Cpasjuste.5-g28982b2-dirty", kernel, while as far I know this kernel only works with stock/mcr? btw, may i know how do you catch kernel panic? i still don't know how to track kernel for problem when it get stuck in LG boot.

I catch kernel panic when my OX2 automatically switches from 3G/H to WIFI i have just tried to switch off WIFI and i didn't catch kernel panic for a whole day, sometimes it did it 2 - 3 times a day.

I have also tried to shutdown facebook sync, because i read in the debug log sometimes about sync, that could also be the key i am not sure.

I havn't had a single kernel panic since i removed facebook sync and uninstalled Y5.

I will now install Y5 and setup auto wifi on/off and see if the kernel panic comes back, if not it must be facebook sync.

btw i have not tried a new kernel.

I always use seesmic for FB and TW. Maybe sns will work, when i get my phone back from repair (dust under the screen) I'll update the rom. This the fourth time i get a new O2X due to hardware faults...... dead pixels etc... but that's not on topic :)
