Default [APP][2.2+] App Quarantine (ROOT)

APP QUARANTINE is a tool to freeze system apps. There are already few tools out there, but the differences of this one are:

1. It's 100% free, no ads, no malicious advertising scams

2. Special support for Custom ROMs

3. Nice Honeycomb/ICS UI (works also on Froyo/Gingerbread devices)

4. Detect when quarantined apps are updated

5. Widget to quarantine apps directly from your home screen

6. Supports the built-in "disable apps" feature on ICS

7. Supports AdbToggle to turn on USB debugging mode only when needed

It's available in Android market

APP QUARANTINE PRO:

In the PRO version you can finally put together apps in groups, sort them by permissions, and individually manage them from the homescreen widget.

In the newest update you can protect your apps with a password, so you can lock your important apps from unwanted access!

New version is available: now it's possible to quarantine regular apps as well, in case that system apps got updated.

Update: apps are re-quarantined after being updated. Possible with either automatic or interactive mode.

How does it work?

I downloaded the app but it's not clear what I'm doing.

I can place a check mark next to the application but what next?

Press MENU button and then "Lock".

Accordingly in the Quarantine list press MENU button and "Restore" to make apps available again.
