Default Apps on Sdcard?

Hi all, is it worth it moving my apps to the sdcard on my NS?

It was an option that I used to improve performance on my old G1.

Don't know if it is worth it doing on NS.

Thanks

Heeter

I think it depends on how many apps you have. If you have performance issues, you start moving them over, from largest to smallest size.

Thanks for your reply

I moved them all to the sdcard.

I am slowly moving back all the ones that are showing performance issues with them.

I think that this way, the ones that I need performing really well will be the only ones on the phone itself.

Thanks again,

Heeter

As far as my understanding goes do not put apps on the SDCard (or usb storage as the case may be) if you want the app accessible right after boot, also any app that included a widget (or a widget for that matter) and live wallpapers if you want them to survive a reboot without having to reapply them....

Exactly. Do not move apps if you wish for them to be accessible immediately after boot (i.e. widgets). Additionally, you should be aware that FAT32, which is used on the USB Storage partition, is slower than EXT4, which is used in the /data partition. I would only start moving them over to .android_secure if you're running low on space.

I am loving it.

Located a limited edition back cover for it, and an awesome set of headphones.

This is a great device, don't regret this great purchase at all.

Gonna be a long, long while this thing and I go our separate ways.

Also, stuck with SuperAOSP, great ROM too!

Sorry to hear about the GS2 and the near bloodshed you had over it. You were talking lots about it too at the time!
