[Q] Sensation is in the mail. Qu about s-off and Ti

Hi all. I am making the move over to the Sensation from a Vibrant. I have two questions:

1. How can you tell if your device is s-off? Sounds like most Sensations coming from t-mo NA are still locked?

2. If your device is locked is there a good way to transfer apps and app data over? I usually use Ti but Ti needs root, I don't want to restore system settings just app and app data. Is there a good alternative.

Can't wait to get the device and fully join the community over here.

to verify if your device is S-On is to fastboot, power button + Vol -. someone correct me if im wrong.

I am in the same boat as you are. I am restoring apps via market lol got to re-download for now.
