There are so many things in CM that it is impossible to live without them if you get use to them. And the excitement to see what new merged commits there are when you wake up...

You know, I have my Desire HD still with me because I was seriously going to sell my SGS2 even though it has superior hardware to DHD. But when codeworkx informed us that the sound issue was solved, I got all hopes back.

Last few weeks has been utmost pain having to do things without CM. It would shatter me to pieces if I now knew it would take more than a month to have our nightly builds going on. Really.

I'm sure it's not feasible, but I was hoping if sources could be available before official nightlies starts, so really impatient people like me could just build their own extremely unofficial package knowing all the risks.

Anyway, thank you Team Hacksung for all your wonderful efforts towards Galaxy S phones!

No i wasn't.
Dumb question, dumb answer. xD

Everyone knows that CM is based on official AOSP sourcecode.
Takes a few seconds to figure out that the actual version is 2.3.4.
I can smell lazyness.
^^ this is my personal opinion and can't be taken as a official statement from the CyanogenMod team.

With the unique button configuration, Samsung did some equally unique mappings to the buttons. Would the behavior be the same on CM7?

I am talking about things like double-tapping Home for voice commands, holding menu foe search, etc.

It'd be nice to make it user configurable. I'd like to keep the menu hold to bring up keyboard (since we are used to this behavior on other Android phones) and move the search to holding the back button. I'd also like the voice commands to be activated by holding the Home button (just like the iPhone). This should eliminate the need for the lag/delay to return home.

I find the missing mapping to bring up the keyboard annoying when some buggy software doesn't bring it up automatically on text fields.
Phones:
Samsung Galaxy Nexus GSM - CM10 Previews (T-Mobile)
Samsung Galaxy S III (SGH-I747 AT&T) - Stock, rooted, & deodexed (AT&T)

Tablets:
Apple iPad 3 - Stock (sick of chasing jailbreaks)
Asus Transformer Pad TF300T - Test Bed (never on a single ROM for too long!)
Asus Nexus 7 - Rooted Stock JB
