[Q] Convert a black defy to a white one?

Hello

I just bought a Defy, i love it... except, that i wanted to buy a white one, and in they do not sell that model for some reason here..

Anyone knows where to buy the part of a Defy, which is white? (I've already voided my warranty by rooting it, so i dont really care about guarantee.)
Is somewhere a "Mobile phone parts" shop in the net?

Do they sell full working white defys too?

I searched www.taobao.com again,
It seems that there's no total white module on sale.
Only middle housing is on sale.

Front housing and battery cover is still black.

Taobao market is a Chinese online market,maybe there's no English version.

Even the white DEFYs on the market have only the middle housing in white. Would be perfect if they had a white battery cover

I don´t think its a good idea to disassamble an water resistant phone just to change the color... :/

Amazon sells this middle white defy out of stock, same price as the black one:

you could just put one of the white hard rubber cases on off ebay for a couple of £$£$, ive seen the black one on a friends defy and they seem greeat value.

One of the things making the Motorola Defy slightly waterproof is the very very tight screws connecting the defy. a reassembling of the defy by an unprofessional could be just like throwing the main feature of the defy in the trash (the waterproofness and dustproof)

Keep in mind that if you unroot your phone the warranty comes back, but if you take the screws out the warranty is really gone.
