[Q] upgrading to inc2

[Q] upgrading to inc2

So i am gonna be upgrading to an inc2 in a few days and since I dont have an upgrade available on my number I was going to use it on another family members number who does have one and doesn't plan on using it soon. My question is over the fact that this other number doesnt have a data package on their account and If i use the upgrade will it a. get charged to the account automatically and b. will i be able to instantly cancel it when i switch it to my number

and i was going to do it through newegg/cellstores since they have it for $100 while verizon still has it for $150 if anyone has any experience with them

amazon is cheaper than verizon and has wayyyy better cust service.

its actually $100 on amazon, cause im not gonna get the $50 discount that the main line would get but i should probably go with them then since if theres any issues it would be easier to sort it out with them rather than cellstores which ive never dealt with (newegg has been great everytime ive ordered something from them though but i dont think they have anything to do with the cell phone part of their site)

just called amazon wireless and they said that i wouldn't be able to switch the inc2 to my account since the number im using for the upgrade would be locked into using the inc2 for 180 days and if it was cancelled before then i would get charged. kinda sucks but the guy explained thats how they're able to offer lower prices since they get their commission form verizon after that 180 days
