Thanks. I just used the stock camera app on CM7; I always used the "auto" scene settings, but I think the trick in low light is to brace the camera on something so it doesn't move.

No; like I said, I only had my SGS2 and a wallet on me.

You use "stuff" like buildings, handrails, benches, etc and brace the phone against it and hold it as still as possible. _Especially_ for night shots. Yeah you look weird to passersby but who cares.

You can set a short timer to make even better shots (so you aren't fidgeting with the shutter button and can use 2 hands to hold it still).

SGS2 rocks!
