[Q]Dim hardware buttons with semi transparent sticker

Hi,

I don't know how u feel about your inredible's hardware keys. I found them annoyingly bright at night.
I was thinking about applying a thin semi transparent sticker over them to dim their light. I know where they are, so not seeing them wouldn't really bother me daytime.
Covering the whole part right under the screen wouldn't look bad, wouldn't it? As there is no software tweak to do this, I couldn't think of a better solution. I am not planning on rooting the device anytime soon anyway.

Do you know any matetial thin enough to operate the buttons?

3m clearbra comes in tinted colors and can be had fairly thin. Though I believe only installers are able to order it.

I would think your best bet would be a clear screen protector and then permanent marker to cover up the buttons.

honestly though, I've always thought my lights were a little on the dim side.
