I've actually used GPS over the last few weeks. Moved to AZ and need to know my way around. And this is one of the weak spots of this phone....

Love all your work, decided to start using GB 2.3.3 ROMs, haven't tried yours yet... downloaded it and to my shock, and huge disappointment, your script is set to delete all of your internal memory...
This just... sucks doniq. I only use my internal for all of my pictures and backups and you successfully deleted all of that... not cool.
You could at least put a disclaimer stating that you're the only, or very very few people, that makes it auto to delete all of your internal memory.
I love your work and contributions, and I'm not one to complain, but I'm pretty pissed about that. There should have been a warning or something.

You mean internal SD or the data partition?
Nowadays, the songs on the radio all drive me crazy

Hmm let me ask you this how long ago you bought your G2X ?
The reason i'm asking that it's cause Eaglesblood was the very first rom for g2x that came out the 2nd or 3rd day after g2x was released and you are the very first person to report this.
Listen this rom doesn't have a script to wipe internal memory and while you demand a disclaimer for something that doesn't exist your problem is more likely it came from the last rom you used that had the memory swapped but even so it doesn't make nonsense !!!!
Now sorry that you lost your data but THIS ROM IT'S BASED ON OFFICIAL OTA FOR G2X just like few other roms out there and again no SCRIPT in this rom to wipe your internal memory.

I think it's a random problem, it happened to me in the early days of CM7 for this phone

It is possible that it happened on a fluke and its also possible while attempting to wipe system you might have accidently selected internal... I've read that before either was I have huge doubts any Dev would play a cruel joke like that.

It had to have been yours. I was using xboarders, backed his up to internal memory, did a factory reset, then did a reset on /system. Flashed this rom and my internal is empty.
Inside your updater script taken from 1.09, this line is at the top:
Now, I am not a developer/hacker, and I do not know which partition block correlates to which partition... but I'm assuming this all on the fact that it states "EMMC" to be formatted which is our internal memory.

I completely understand what it feels like to lose ALL of your memories/ pics etc. As I have done that while playing with an early ics rom. I was able to restore all of my pics/ videos etc. Through an app on the market. I forgot the exact name of it. Quick search will work.
Now I can also assure you that Doniqcc has never dev a rom that erases your internal SD card. I've been using his roms ever since his froyo eb rom I personally ran this rom for months have gone back and forth; flash and reflashed this specific 2.3.3 1.09 Without issue and without an external SD card so everything was saved to internal pics/ vids etc. And these never got touched. So it is definetly not the result of flashing this rom.

Yeah, don't know why that's there but seeing as it mounts EMMC after it has been wiped, it shouldn't format anything unless you had accidentally mounted your EMMC or something you had done had mounted it.
Not blaming you, just saying.
