MT4G>Sensation 4G
Can someone elaborate having those two phones - is the switch worthwhile? I'm very happy with MT4G but am I missing a lot not having sensation 4g?
Sent from my HTC Glacier using XDA App

64g mSD class 10
HTC Sensation 4G

Once the sensation gets root, there won't be any competition between the two devices. Everything about the Sensation 4G is an upgrade from the Mytouch 4g. 3.8 inch tft-lcd 480x800 resolution screen vs 4.3 inch 540x960 qhd Super LCD resolution screen.
Mytouch version of 2.1 Sense vs HTC Sense 3.0
Single Core 1ghz processor vs Dual Core 1.2 ghz processor
5 mp single led flash camera vs 8mp dual led flash camera
Not much more to say.

Main Devices: LG Nexus 4
Rom: Latest AOKP
ASUS Nexus 7
Rom: Latest CM 10.1
NEXUS LIFE
Old Devices:Samsung Galaxy S III (cracked screen) Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Htc Sensation,HTC Espresso, HTC Glacier, HTC Dream, Samsung Galaxy Nexus. (Lost )

Same here. I love running Sense3.0 on MT4G, but can't wait for the Sensation to be opened up. Plus, it's just such a slick looking phone, I can't put it down!

I've had sense 3.0 on MT4G and slick as it was, CM7 is smoother, faster. Both phones have the same RAM, wonder if the dual core makes all the difference in speed/performance. Sadly, only 1G internal memory on Sensation, vs 4G on MT4G.

HTC has confirmed this numerous times. Once the asynchronous core technology is unlocked you wonder why the question in the OP was ever asked
Device: Samsung Galaxy S4 i9500 Octanos
ROM : KillaJoule Beta

htc mytouch is solid phone and I still have mine Love the mytouch 4g. Sense 3.0 on it is very smooth and runs excellent.
Only differences I personally see or notice is the size and quality of the screen on the htc sensation. The speed of the dual core isn't much noticeable to me compared with the mytouch. I like the solid feel and thickness of the mytouch compared to the sensation. Both phones are good, cant go wrong with either one. I would hold off and buy one cheap in a month or so, and hope the bootloader is unlocked for some development.
Too many phones in the past year!

I have gone from one to the other and back a couple times over the last couple weeks. I can definitely tell that the Sensations screen is better. The MT4G is a little faster because of root and the ROM it is running. Sensation camera is definitely better also. I miss the trackball on the MT4G. Overall I like the Sensation more. The screen make a huge difference, you may not notice until you get used to the sensation screen then look back at the MT4G. Right now they are very close but like others have said, once Sensation gets root it wont be any contest.
