[Q] Smear under the glass

Don't know what happened, but it shows a big smear under the glass, what is my chance to get a RMA from HTC?

I had that problem few days back no idea how it happened, but i charged my flyer and went to sleep and it was gone when i woke up?

Hope mine is the same case, thinking something hard preessed on the glass

The annoying spot really disappeared like magic, very happy! However, HTC support wanted me to deal with "place of purchase", that is not cool.

If you were still within the return policy period of the place of purchase, that's pretty normal. Why bother RMA thru the manufacturer, when you can just return/exchange at the point of purchase (unless the store happens to be far away from your home, or some similar situation)?

Purchased from Best Buy over a month ago, think they have return policy either 14 days or 30 days, suppose I have issues after the BB warranty period then what? it is only money to deal with BB, right?

You do have a 30 day exchange at BB, but with the Flyer there is no method to service it under warranty... so they usually just swap it for a new one if you have a warranty and the issue is deemed covered.

My flyer has the same problem. I saw it one day and I thought it was the screen protector but it want a way for a day and now it back and bigger. If u in yo 30days take it back and don't let them tell u its water damage cus its not. If ur 30days is up them call HTC the # is in the flyer box
