(Q) I know this is a dumb question but how do I boot into my bootloader?

hold down volume + power when the phone is totally shut down

There are a couple ways:

1) Uncheck fastboot in menu>settings>power. Then turn phone off. Hold vol down and power up.

2.) Restart the phone. Once the LEDs go out when phone shuts down, hold vol down.

Okay, thanks guys. I couldnt get into the bootloader the same way I got into it from my EVO 4g.
