DONATE TO ME
Well after 3 months, the crack started to appear on my midnight blue arc!
Why so serious?

Some/most users get the crack back, one reason why I don't send mine to repair.
HTC One X - Polar White - Beats by Dr. Dre urBeats 2 - Android Revolution HD 21.0 - XM-Kernel 296 - ModPack V6.6
Apple iPad 2 - iOS 6.1.3

As long as the phone itself is working fine, I don't think sending it in to get the case changed is worth the time without the phone. The case you get back will probably just crack again later.

Even with a revised case, my X1 got the infamous X1 crack over two years ago (and a few others later). I'm still using it today and it's working flawlessly, I just stopped caring about the cracks (but I'm one who cares much more about function than about looks).

The X1 was manufactured by HTC though, so it's not just a SE thing

I sent it for repair and got a brand new arc because repair took too long. Almost 3months now and no crack yet. On the first arc i got it after 2 months. I remain hopeful. :) I do care about the crack, not only for the looks but because it costs a lot. I should be able to expect quality for that price. I must say I now use a hard case. Maybe it cracked because of the pressure when I put it my pocket... There's less pressure on my phone now. The hard case absorbs part of it, I think... That's my view at least. :)

Have mine for over 6 months now, No cracks whatsoever as of the moment... Thanks God!

Protect mine with a Capdase Silicone Case & keep it in a leather case which I wear on my belt, when not in use. Never placed it on my pockets.

Misty Silver Arc here.

I was thinking about getting an Xperia Arc S but this thread is putting me off. Any Arc S owners suffering from cracks?

I purchased my Xperia Arc Misty Silver last August, until now no cracks visible in the sensor and/or beside the back button.

and right now my Arc is protect with ZAGG IShield, if ever cracks appears on the sensor, that area is covered by the shield, so no dirt or water will enter.
Sony Xperia™ SL and ION
