I've the cracks too. TBH if there weren't posts about it I wouldn't notice it. It's hairline thin and doesn't cause the top panel to fall out, so I'm fine with it. (Normally I'm picky about my stuff but I consider it trivial for this case) I apologise if my opinion bothers some of you. Just my two cents.

My problem with the housing is not that tiny little crack up there, but the horrible quality of the housing. My phone looks terrible if you take a good look (good thing the color of the housing is dark blue, haha). ^^,

I have own an Xperia Arc S since June this year and no cracks here.... I am just lucky, I guess... Glossy Black and it's made 12th week of 2012.

I think so too? I also have a Misty Silver Xperia Arc, I have for 11 months, and still no cracks

Had my housing changed in April and am still waiting for the cracks to reappear, so far alls good no cracks
