Want to report a "bug": in some apps the menu button is just missing, why not always display the menu button and keep it without function if its not needed? there is enough space down there for this.

I don't think this is a bug. Apps designed for honeycomb move the menu button up to the action bar in the upper right hand corner.

Correct, that is just honeycomb functionality - not something we changed in the rom.

My battery life has dropped when using the tablet. On standby, the life is normal. But I am using a setcpu screen-off profile. However, I have commented on the battery life twice in this thread and no one reply's..... Its odd

You can grab an app called "savior button" I think. It adds an expandable softkey on the screen that is always visible.

The OP (BigRushDog) addressed that question earlier :

However, if you produce a language pack or telephony pack, or any kind of localization patch, I would be more than happy to publish in the OP. Tiamat Rom should simply be used as a base for theming, localization, or anything else. Sorry guys, I cant do it all. Guys, let me be clear on this. We have debated this issue for a while. hey guys.

just rooted our Xoom last night and flashed this rom. no complaints here. working well.

got a few questions if you don't mind:

1) my understanding was that the kernel that the rom comes with allows up to 1.7Ghz. is that supposed to be supported by all xooms? I can run at 1.7Ghz for a little bit but end up with periodic rebooting. at 1.5Ghz i've benched and stress-tested and had no problems.

2) I assume the answer to this is yes, but i'll ask. the higher the clock speed the faster the battery drains? is there a point where it evens out such that battery drain isn't too much while still being beyond 1ghz?

3) I love the crt screen off animation. I saw in the op that it's got some issues. what are they supposed to be? it worked for me for like 3 minutes, where I turned on and off just to see it work. after that, haven't seen it happen again.

thanks for the answers and for the great rom!

To answer number 1) alot of devices can run at 1.7ghz with no problems, others like mine seem to require more voltage than normal and crashes at above1.6ghz, some can't even make it that high. Not sure of an answer for number 2. I keep mine at 1.504ghz on interactive. And before my battery life issues with the new rom my battery life was phenomenal. As for number 3) the only issues I've heard about with the crt animation is that it doesn't work in the normal landscape position. It only seems to work in portrait or upside down landscape.
