Those cases were pulled. They HAVE TO have the holes in them...So they got pulled because they didnt fit properly and they were blocking some signals for some users.
IDK when they're coming back though.
I've never had an otterbox case but i do have an official one from T-mobile. I can't tell if the otterbox ones are flexible ,they dont look like they are, but mine is and doesnt have any holes in it. I havent experienced any blockage, in fact it improves my signal. Especially the landscape wi-fi issue. I'm assuming the signal blockage would largely be based on the material of the case?
the only issue i had was all my photos including private showing in camera and video apps but fixed with delete.lol
You can choose which albums are viewable by pushing menu when in the gallery app. Though if someone really wanted to view them, they could also do the same thing and bring it back up
My first and second sensations were perfect the first few days. It seems like they degraded...the touch screen issues get worse with time. Most of the great reviews are done in the first day or 2, before issues come up. It is real strange how great the phone can be one minute then slow the next. I'm talking multiple factory resets and still cant get the carousel back. swipes just dont register as swipes. apps are constantly opening instead of home screen change when swiping. The carousel worked perfect on both sensations when new. It doesn't make sense that it could be a software issue if you set it back to factory defaults and that doesnt help. Unless factory default isn't actually the exact same configuration as when you get the phone new, might not be. Maybe factory default is just HTC's "attempt" at getting the phone back to new like settings, similar to new? maybe something isnt getting wiped right. If that is the case then we need an update quick. I too noticed that the EVO 4D has had multiple updates already. I jumped ship from EVO 4g to get the sensation, maybe i shoulda waited for th 3D! Sensation updates/bug fixes/unlocked bootloader would sure help HTC from a ton of returns.... Also my GPS (both phones) will not connect unless i do a restart. It will connect instantly then, but not for long. The second phone i only put minimal apps on it, just enough to get by. The first phone i installed about 40 apps. I'm having some crazy phantom dialing with the second phone. It'll just start calling someone for no reason, and i cant end it! touch screen is non responsive, does nothing until i hit the power button, then wake it up, swipe the ring about 3 or 4 times, by then the person has answered.. Happened 4 times!

No issues whatsoever here. I had like 320 hours up time before a reboot even...

That worries me....
My ONLY issues were..
Device 1: Dead Pixels...couldn't take it
Device 2: Dropped signal every couple minutes and never came back, touch issues
Now i am currently on device 3 and its actually cool..But I got the loose ass power button and im torn on what to do about it..think i'll let it ride..i've come to the conclusion that there is no 100% perfect device. maybe a 90% one..but not 100%.
on the plus side, i don't have dust, death grip or 98% of the glitches that are coming up. Unlike the iPhone, which has a much larger base of owners, when the antenna problem hit, the sheer numbers made them address it. From what i have seen here the issues have been resolved with sim card changes, discovering it was a case issue or people being resigned not to hold the phone a certain way.
I say all this to say that most people are content (from what "I" read) with the Sensation as a whole. There is no unifying glitch or bug that everyone complaining about. Therefore, unless there are speed tweaks/battery tweaks that need to be addressed I don't know what on update is needed for?!?
now, on the flip side, I am seeing a gross disparity in the s-off cracking that is going on between the sensation and the evo 3d. which, in some way may extrapolate to more users who have the phone, which leads to more users in general, which leads to htc paying more attention to the known glitches, which leads to making Sprint happy by heading the larger customer base off at the pass by responding preemptively. Its just a hypothetical reason why the updates are faster, but when you look at the Evo's RAM, Internal memory and bigger battery over the Sensation there "may" be some latent preferential treatment when it comes to the updates. Who knows...

You make perfect sense my friend. Appreciate the post.

You do make sense, but I wouldn't say perfect sense
There is no bug that appears on EVERY unit, but the lock screen, swiping and wifi issues seem to be happening on every third device... And even more devices are being laggy due to sense 3.0 smothering them.
I've noticed that most people on this forum already swapped their phone for a new one.. Some even twice :\
Don't know which of these problems can be fixed with an update.. But I really hope an (official) update comes soon...
