Just be grateful to him that he gave you the best kernel out here and that too when he doesn't own an O1 anymore

Hmm you seem to be on the Roq X kernel. I am actually on it too since yesterday and it seems to be quite good! The battery drain that the earlier version had does not seem to be there. In fact it was the best one out there till franco's latest .35 kernel. Now it seems to have become better in all respects. Not a single flaw till now. Very smooth on 480/691 conservative. As good as franco's as of now. Have to use it for some more days for final comments. Let's see...

# Rom: CM 7.2 Latest Nightly & JETSPEED v1.0 ROM (My custom ROM)

"Best kernel out there" it's a long stretch with all the problems listed in this thread.
No one argues that Franco deserves credit for all the work - that's besides the point here.
You said it yourself: Franco moved to a better phone so how can someone expect him to fix bug in the kernel? Borrow a phone everytime there is a report?

Hence my suggestion: move to something that IS currently supported. You have better chances that new issues MIGHT be addressed.
Motorola Xoom WiFi
ROM: JB Eos3 stable
Nexus 4
ROM: PA 3.15 // Kernel: Franco r143

He does not need the phone to fix the bugs. Your argument is invalid.

zero bug for me.

comments?

lol just stop starting war here like a kid, everyone chooses to use the kernel they like. it is ok to recommand with manner but not to create arguments.

the essential thing is RESPECT to the developer(s), no matter the support of the product has ended or not. because they have dedicated their time and effort, for YOU, for FREE.

now official nightly is out, do you still show gratitude to mik_os? of course. so thats an example.

your little avatar prolly mean no bull****s on the forum, so you should make it happen! chill mate

take a note - no developer likes to argue for fake names like "best", "fastest" etc. there is no real competitions. it is already more than fine, when the names are in their users' hearts.

From what I have experienced after installing the ROQ X kernel is that it sure is totally bug free, fast and smooth. But the battery drains faster on phone conversation compared to Franco's.

I can confirm that reboot issue on N2 cm7.2 was due to some bug in Gapps that I flashed and not due to franco #4 kernel ..... :)
No reboots since flashing of clean N2 + Franco #4 kernel.

@franciscofranco: Could you please commit this to fix random reboots during incoming call. Thanks.
