I think that only google can send out invites for Music Beta.
I remember something about people sending fake invites with viruses that would download when you clicked on the link inside the email also.

They aren't talking about the music beta, they are talking about google+ , its goggles new social network, like facebook or myspace, just googles version, therefore it shall be superior in every way

Be aware... I didn't receive my email until 18 hours after it was sent. Google is definitely throttling the traffic.
