Just to update....And re illustrate my Problem with TMO and this PHONE,,,,,,I hope to god one of the higher ups at TMOBILE reads this

First I Bought a VIBRANT

Then they had their sale on the GS4G...Feb Valentines day sale So

I asked (within the 15 day) if it would be possible to get this phone,,,
Since I have had this phone I have had nothing but problems....Let me be the first to tell you that
IT IS NOT GOING TO BE FIXED WITH A FACTORY RESET !!
Since I have owned the G I have NUMEROUS friends that have told me that they have called 4-5-10 times and still cannot get through,,,Mind you I have a full 3G EDGE signal when they have called...so this has been going on for 5 almost 6 months The worst part is that the calls are not showing up when it rings no missed call ...guess what I even gave them dates times and numbers called from and traced them back for them....Even showed up on my BILL...
Yes I have checked settings and the menu option to block calls or whatever I have troubleshot this with 10 agents all of them notating my account!!!!!!!! I Feel like I have done OVER AND ABOVE what I should have done as a customer....to help them help me

I have spent WELL over get this 100 hours on the phone and chat with TMO not only am I not getting calls but Most of the time that I am trying to access the internet it takes me twice to 4Xs longer than my KIDS MYTOUCH G

I have done everything that tmo has asked me to do.....hundreds of factory resets and SIX count with me SIX different devices

Tier one two three specialists ,......new sim cards, New phones ECT......After calling soooooo many times
they tell me as of 5-31 that I have a trouble ticket opened.........SOOO What........
Then they tell me that they will call me back when the issue is resolved. (Remember that I cannot receive incoming calls)
They tell me 24-48 hrs.....nope 1 week later....same thing....We are still working on my issue....we'll call u back
One more week.......nope!!! The representative that is working on it will call u when it has been resolved,,,,,
Four days later......still mad!! (I am looking for a job waiting on calls back) Finally frustrated after getting Visual Voicemail 4 days after when I got back in to a 4G area....

After all of this and monthly bills of 230-270 per month i called to ask if it was possible to get a different device again...NO!

tried it didn't install ANYTHING other than apps that were included with the phone, yes I know how to do routine mant. on phone...clean cache manually not with 3rd party app...yes I know that you have to sometimes power down daily for best results and that battery pulls at 3 days ect. TRUST ME I listened to all the advice that all of the TECHs have told me!

Then they tell me that it had been escalated to a SYSTEM/ Network issue...my fault NOT HARDLY

One more week nothing !! Chat to a person...over to phone....more excuses.....blah blah blah.....we are working on your issue Sir there is nothing more that we can do ! Another Ticket Now i have 2 count THEM 2 OPEN tickets system network and the problem has been forwarded to Samsung.... ok..... Four days later...UM....well excuses and excuses of what my problem is and that they assure me that they are going to fix this and that it is being worked on.....REALLY at This point I dont care....My wifes phone mytouch4g :; kids phone same, they work....most of tge time 9/10


Now AT this point I demand to talk to manager the highest I can possibly go

They tell me that the new billing cycle has started and that my account is now in default status and that TWO days that its overdue. Mind you that its still 230-270 per month So I have all the UNLIMITED data and calling and crap they push...
The two days that is overdue will not let them in their system to upgrade me to the HTC Sensation...which they agreed to give me multiple device changeover...

Yes my account is past due. U offered me a $10 credit ! Shove it,,, 6 MONTHS OF NOT RECEIVING CALLS OK well 20% of calls AND ONLY able to use data efficiently on WIFI at HOME

Someone explain what should I do! I don't want to pay the bill as i am not getting what I am paying for!!!!!
But they assure me that even if they credit my account that it will go towards the current month due and not the past due balance (three days overdue now)

First of all, T-Mobile never reads this forum. Not to anyone's knowledge, anyway.

We're not part of the billing department, but what you can certainly do is call them, tell them politely that your phone is defective, and request a new one. Otherwise, say that you'll file a BBB complaint. If they don't respond to that, ask for their manager.

Worst case scenario, you can look to contact their corporate office.
Hell, send them a letter. It'll do more good than yelling at uncaring customer representatives.

I had a similar problem. I kept calling, but the most effective thing was going into the tmobile store. I threatened to cancel my family account of 10 years, which was a pretty big account and they caved in. even though the phone may not work the way you want right now, make sure the hardware is good and look through the stuff here. Software wise, the devs and modders are top notch.

Default TO UPdate

I know that Tmobile does not read this.. I have since upgraded phones to the sensation and Learned myself how to ROOT and Rom Flash. THis site is very useful and organzized when you take the time to learn how to use it. It took me a while but i have even managed to help other developers with various files that they needed since learning the processes on here. Thanks XDA...wonderful service to the masses..
