Default Will the Cloud replace SD Cards?

I have the 16 gb model and with all the talk about these new Cloud services and tablets coming without SD card slots, is that the future?

I am currently using dropbox, sugarsync and Box.net, to a limited degree and using these services like splashtop, playon, and both music cloud services-google and amazon. 95% of my music is on google music beta.

Can one really use the Cloud for everything only with a wifi model tablet
Or would you rather stay in the plug and play world of card storage?

Any insight from both sides anyone?

DONATE TO ME
Doubt it. SD cards and storage are meant for you to be able to move data quickly and "the cloud" is very restrictive. Ever try listening to a song from 'the cloud' on an airplane or in a building with no reception? 'The cloud' is more of a compliment to real memory and it will never change, unless the whole world is covered in free high speed internet, so never. I believe 'the cloud' is another gimmick like 3d TVs or hybrid cars. Once the cool factor is gone, they fade away into nothing more than a memory.

I would NEVER upload my data on the Internet !
Better stick to this:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/search/ref=...99c245d074da15

Just plug it into your router and your set.
In the Android market you have the LinkStation Player to access this buffalo thing but there are more and better apps for that.
Those with the WIFI only Version: Use your smartphone as a hotspot

There are also routers with built in NAS support. In Germany we have the pretty popular "Fritzbox" which is some kind of multifuncial router (wifi router, cable internet, phone plugs, usb slots etc.). It can do that NAS streaming too and much more.
