2. Defy + 720p record* and playback, 5 MP panorama + pananorama assistent 720p+panorama-defy+.zip


*only red lens


DID NOT WORK WITH CM7 based roms




old versions: (fixed MB526 problem, default now MB525)

1. 720p + panorama 3 Megapixel mode 720p+panorama-for-stock-gingerbread.zip

2. 720p + panorama wide mode 720p+wide-for-stock-gingerbread.zip

3. 720p for defy+ 720p-panorama-defy-plus.zip

- 720p record and playback, record works with stock camera app

- 720p record works only on red lens camera (bayer module)

- Green lens can only record max. WVGA. (SOC module)

- 720p playback works for both camera.


Install:

1. Download attached file
   
2. Copy file to root of your sdcard
   
3. Run 2nd-init
   
4. Launch custom recovery (CWM)
   
5. Install zip
   
6. Reboot

720p record settings:

1280x720, h264, AAC, AudioSamplerRate 44100, AudioBitRate 102400, 30 FPS, 10Mbit

Video will record with max. 24 FPS



WORKING SETTINGS:

tested on red lens

H264 codec: 1280x720, 720x480, 704x576, 640x480

Mpeg4/m4v: 1280x720, 848x480, 800x480,720x480, 704x576, 640x480, 480x320, 352x288, 320x240

Ok. I tested extensively this 720p patch with lgcamera pro. The best of the best is video settings at 1280x720 is with MPEG4 as its encoder, 5Mbit and 30fps ticked as well. Video recording and playback is very smooth no lagging at all. Although video playback at 24fps but it's awesomely working smooth.

Solved problem, have 2 set in 2nd init boot menu auto boot to normal, black screen problem gone now and record 23fps video 720p without overclocking.

combined with green bread mod camera works fine up to wvga and 720p playback is ok:)

Hi Walter!

Im using Gingerbread Rom 4.5.1-134 with the GreenBreadMod and i get "record failed" message when trying to record video.

Any ideas?
