Facebook 2.0 app. Push notifications not working...

Hi,

Recetly i get update for Facebook 2.0 with push notifications. Push notific does nto work for me. Once or two times i get notification about that someone added me to his friend but never notification about new message or post on my wall. I have all checkboxes marked in settings. I tried reinstall app, even hard reset did not solved the problem. Push notifications for my Hotmail account works fine. Is there any way to solve this problem?

If push notifications are not working, you can either try:

1) Hard reset.
2) Uninstall Facebook and go into the registry and remove any entries for applications using push notifications that you aren't using. Its possible you have other apps that are using up your push notification allotment.

Instructions on how to do these things can be found on XDA, just try a good ol' search.

You said you tried a hard reset and if that isn't working, then something else may be wrong. Maybe a weak data connection, or something else we haven't encountered.

well u can install the mango beta that's floating around. anyway push notifications worked flawlessly for me even before the mango beta. its the FIM notifications that rarely if ever worked for me and still don't.
