Default Launcher Pro, ADW launcher Ex, Go Launcher

I've tried all three and they all just look weird, text doesnt look as smooth as Sense UI. Has anyone else noticed this? text just looks blurry when scrolling.

Hi, it seems that for the time being, some alternative launchers are giving some problems to users with the Sensation. Some have problems showing text, others make weird lines appear on screen and things likes that. It seems to be a software problem and hopefully it will be solved with future updates either of the launcher programs or the video driver, don't know which (remember that Sensation's screen resolution is pretty unique now among Android devices). I got this from a spanish forum called HTC Mania.

Hope I helped you.

The smoothest one is Go Launcher. But for other things I can't decide. I uninstalled ADW immediately because I get extreme lag in app drawer

Hmm my app draw is super fast using adw ex using the vertical 4d style app drawer. Honestly I have tried them all. The transitions are better and smoother than any other launcher. I would say launcher pro (paid) is 2nd. I only tried go when it first came out so can't comment on that one, zeam was cool but again I like screen transitions and adw ex is my choice for that. Especially the inverse cube transition. I've heard a lot of people say adw was laggy for them, and I do think the free version is not as polished and most people I have heard that say its laggy in my experience have been people using the free version. As opposed to the paid ex version.

Hmm..... I used free versions of ADW & LP, maybe that's why Go Launcher seems better?

Honestly, all your video did was show me how laggy ADW ex really is. There were multiple times you swiped your finger and the home screens lagged and the widgets lagged.

I guess I owe you a thank you for making me realize I don't even want to give ADW ex a try.

ADW EX is probably one of the most laggy launchers on the market. The developer re-writ the code but then stopped updating it due to personal issues (Fair Enough i suppose) but I found it laggy and somewhat buggy I now use go launcher and will not be looking back.

go launcher also has a very nice calender widget, that coupled with the transparent calender theme makes for a nice sence like widget.. it is well worth the try!

Hey, how did you get your desktop to scroll like that? Thats is awsome!

I dont see anything laggy with ADW EX, are you guys sure you have the paid version? I believe it is hardware accelerated. You must have spidey sense or something to be able to distinguish any lag that may be present.

Matt
