The only thing getting flashed is the primary kernel. You *should* be able to load recovery even if it's messed up (That's how it is for the a500, anyway).

I have tried to compile kernel using Linaro GCC (VFP3-16), but it doesn't work, hangs at bootloader screen, though sp3dev's kernel works. Did anyone try?
Also I can't use the core boot fs (ubuntu 12), the "Failed to create pty - disabling logging for job" error appears. There is a bug in a bugtracker. I'll try to apply a patch and build the core boot fs.

ok, I've compiled the latest kernel (with the --no-log hack for ubuntu) and will update the first post with the image.

I was using gcc version 4.4.1 (Sourcery G++ Lite 2010q1-188). Gcc 4.6 may fail with this kernel.

Sorry guys, I'm leaving you. I'm giving my tablet to my brother since I've not used it at all after buying the new laptop.

for the rootfs, use the one from omap4, remove omap drivers and install whatever you need (use qemu-system-arm for chroot on your x86 box). I won't share my rootfs because I don't want to spend time cleaning up passwords and other sensitive data from it.

For tegra drivers, there should be a PPA for ac100, but you're better off using fbdev.
