does anyone know where internet passwords are kept on the GT if it even is kept?

If you select a wireless network while in the wifi settings you can choose to forget the network and re-enter the details. I don't know if there is a file somewhere that stores the passwords. There probably is and if google is doing things the right way the passwords are hashed so you can't read them.
