Wajk recommend a data wipe at this update. I want to do that but I am not sure about some backup question:
1. If I backup everything with the build-in backup app, all of my applications (games and tools) and the settings of them (and ofc the game states) are survive?
2. My settings and display layout survive?
3. After everything are backupped, I wipe the data, install the new version. Then I restore everything. In this way the old system preferences are restored, but isn't it bad? Because I think we wipe to delete the system preferences.
I was on 1.9.23 till Sunday. I did the upgrade to 1.10.8, and have now way more often random reboots. (semi-reboots to be more accurate)
Some reboots were also happening on 1.9.23, but not too often.
Now it's really annoying. How can I find out what the problem is? CPU clock for example...
Thx Edit:
Nevermind. Changed CPU settings and it is running now ok. I will do a stress test on it...
One question that does not let me go:
If i change a Contact on google to "File as" a nickname for example. How can I if possible see this contact in the contacts with this name?
I was used to things like this on Sense (the contacts handling of sense is the only thing I am missing now... and the clock app maybe...)

With miuibackup you make a complete backup, apps, settings, games, calls, everything.
And when you restore, you can choose every item to restore. Just dont restore system settings, and youll be fine.
Actual version hasn't got this feature, because Andy (Volume button modder) was on Holiday and don't publish this MOD on Saturday, and first (Sunday version) has got restart bug.
In next version coming back this feature builtin, of course.
But today something seems to have gone wrong when I receive calls. The phone rings and the person calling shows for a second on the screen. The screen then goes black/blank as if I have put my face to it to lock it. So I’m unable to answer the call at this point. I wait a few more seconds, the call shows again on the screen and I’m finally able to answer the call.
