I just loaded Nook Tweaks from the market and have USB keyboards and mice working. I wish he would of have used nightly 126 or later then my Logitech USB Headset could have been used for voice and sound. All that is necessary to make the usb mike and speakers work is too overwrite one file. It did not work with this version. Must be based on a version earlier then 126.

I guess I will have to download this just to see if my IMEI generator works on it... don't know why it wouldn't....

The ONLY thing I have issue with is the thread being titled "[ROM] AOSP MIUI Nook Color 1.7.8"... but MIUI being closed source is NOT an Android Open Source Project...

As far as the IMEI Gen... it will work.

Sounds like you're the only one on the dev team specifically for the nook. That's a shame. I'd hope that there would be more support for it from the MIUI standpoint.

So basically, if we bring up issues with the Rom, the most serious issues might be addressed at best due to lack of staff?

I think you may be confused. I don't work for MIUI. I'm just an android enthusiast who did this in his spare time. This is not a product with support per se, its just my hobby that I wanted to share.

any1 else noticed, that the lockscreen isn't fullscreen? after first boot, it's fullscreen - when the screen goes off and you switch it back on, it's not fullscreen anymore..

Ahh, I see...

I applaud your work. Happy that they let you do what you did. Bringing it over under the circumstances.

It appears to be a situation where any customization will have be done post development in the form of specialized aps.

I actually just downloaded the sdk, jdk, and eclipse and have gone through the first 2 tuts.

Anyone notice the nook app is resized all wrong that's my only problem. Other than that loving this port but can someone look into that thanks.

Hi DizzyDen. Your generator works fine here! I loaded HBO go and this app. Using USB keyboard to type this. I used adb wireless. I do have a problem with usb cable, the nook did not show up on my pc or mac. Do you have any suggestions? For installing nook apps I got around this by using their ftp server.

I forgot to say that I am using a VG SDcard installer and OC 06/18.

Just installed No Lock app and disabled the lock screen.

for usb cable... if you're talking about for adb... probably need to go through and delete all nook devices (VID_2080) from device manager (you have to use view/show hidden devices)... also any device that has B&N listed as the manufacturer and any OMAO3630 (I think that was the one I had before).

You need to check in the following:
Android Phone
Disk drive
Other devices
Portable Devices
Universal Serial Bus controllers

To check the vendor id (VID) you have to open the properties on each device... go to Details tab and use down arrow (usually only once) to the line Hardware Ids. Alternatively.. you can search the registry for VID_2080.
