No, Odin does not work with Linux/osx. But there is heimdall, like the Guy above me said.

I've installed heimdall on my Mac OSX. It seems all the installation guidelines for those 2.3 ROMs from the developers are for odin. Do you happen to know any guidelines for installing those 2.3 ROMs with heimdall? Thanks!

you need to extract the files from the .tar, and load them into the individual locations in heimdall (if running the gui, otherwise read the heidmall readme on how to use the commandline heimdall)

2.scroll down and download both heimdall command line binary for for you linux version (for 32bit linux choose i386/X86, for 64 bit linux choose AMD64/ intel 64

3. Then download hiemdall frontend for whatever linux version u have

4. Install the command line binary deb first then the heimdall-frontend binary

Thanks how you install, now here's how to flash

1. Download the package you want

2. Extract all files including thoose in tar or tar.md5 or whatever

3. Open heimdall by opening terminal and typeing without the quotes "heimdall-frontend"

4. Put all the extracted files in the right boxes

5. Press flash

To make easier

If you don't want to type "heimdal-frontend" in terminal everytime you flash do this

1 right click on desktop

2. Press create launcher

3. Make name heimdall and command heimdall-frontend

4. Make the launcher

5. To open press on the lancher
