Question SMS in chinese, recipient received ????

Hi,
I am trying to send SMS using the Google Pinyin Input Method
The phone prompted the following message:

Attention
Message may be corrupted on recipient device. Change input mode to automatic.

My recipient received "????"

There was no automatic selection in the input mode.

Is this a bug or I had missed out certain setting or your rom do not support it?

Please advice, thanks.

Because it's running smooth, bug free and with excellent performance. No need to ask questions.
