I got that error too. I think it is because the storm here in Chicago knocked out a tower.

My sprint employee friends are telling me there's a national texting outage..

Ironically I was reflashing a rom right when it must have started, all of a sudden I boot up and try to send a text and start getting that error.. haha

Apparently its network related tho

It's a nationwide texting outage. Talked to sprint. They're working to get it fixed. Mine seems to be fixed already.
