[Q] hard bricked captivate: under samsung waranty

the phone wont turn at all neither it charged. my phone is rooted, and unlocked,

but according to the purchase date it is under warranty,

can i send to samsung? is there anyway they can find out?

I have sent my rooted phone running gb twice to samsung(I bricked the bootloaders).they don't check for that at all.samsung only cares about water or physical damage.but they will erase all your data and put the stock at&t froyo though.just call them and tell them you phone won't turn on and wont charge and you don't know why.don't mention that you rooted it.the whole process takes about 2 weeks and its free.
