[Q] ring volume delay in GB

after flashing to Stock Gingerbread 2.3.3 Deodexed + Root KF2, the ring volume now has a delay before it reaches full ring volume, is there a way to disable this? It rang immediately at full volume in Stock Froyo ROM

I too am having this issue after flashing Stock Gingerbread 2.3.3 Deodexed + Root KF2.

I am back on Black Ice Stable...I spend alot of time commuting so I have learned to like being able to answer my phone before it "gets loud" however I would also like to know how to fix this because it is not part of the Froyo ROM.

Did you wipe cache or delvik cache before flashing back to Froyo? I didn't

i didn't go back to froyo, im planning to stay on gingerbread.
I'm just trying to see if theres a way to get back the way that my ringtone rings in froyo.

I wish I could help you. I don’t know much about Gingerbread. I really liked the ROM I just couldn't live without Voodoo Sound...

Whatever it is in Gingerbread that causes the ringtone delay carried over to my Black Ice...

I'm sure you checked your sound settings right?
